Registration is now open until 28th May

Follow the two steps below to register for the conference:

Step 2: Booking and payment of the meals & bedroom fee

Step 1:
Registration and payment of the registration fee

Registration fee:

Regular fee: 350 CHF
Fee for PhD students: 200 CHF

Registration fee includes:

Morning and afternoon coffee breaks
Access to all conference events
Excursion with cable car ride and hiking
Conference dinner

Fill out and submit the registration form. Pay the registration fee by credit card in order to complete the registration.

Information for ETH employees: ETH employees can pay through an internal transfer if preferred. Contact us at to receive more information. Afterwards you can continue as described below with the registration.

Once you have successfully paid the registration fee, you will receive two e-mails:

The first e-mail will by the Saferpay Platform will confirm that payment of the registration fee has been successful.
The second e-mail will by CSF will contain the conference code to access the Monte Verità Meals and Rooms Booking Platform. Use this code for step 2.

Step 2:
Booking and payment of meals and room

To access the external pagebooking platform, apply the code you have received after registration (see Step 1).

For organizational reasons, it is necessary to first book the meals and then proceed with the booking of the bedroom at Hotel Monte Verità̀. Book your meals and bedroom latest 15 days prior to arrival. After that date the hotel cannot accept any more bookings.

Meals:

Participants are expected to take the meals package at Restaurant Monte Verità̀, even if you are staying at an external hotel.
In case you are not attending the whole conference, it is also possible to book the meals only for the duration of your stay.

Room:

Single rooms are limited and some have a shared bathroom.
If you wish to share a twin room with a colleague, please mention both names at the time of booking.
If you wish to book a shared double room with an accompanying person (not active participant), please mention both names at the time of booking. Please be aware that accompanying persons pay the standard room price instead of the reduced participant price.
The rooms on the platform can be booked only for the duration of the conference. If you wish to book a pre- and/or a post-night, please contact the Hotel Monte Verità̀ ().
In case there is no availability or in case you do not wish to stay at Hotel Monte Verità̀, you can book other accommodation in the nearby Ascona village (20 minutes on foot from Monte Verità Centre; limited public transport).

Until 28th May 2019: 50% refund of registration fee
After 28th May 2019: No refund of registration fee

Refund of board and lodging fee

The cancellation policy for booked meals and bedrooms is dictated by the payment conditions of the hotel and conference center Monte Verità as given at the time of booking and payment.

Additional terms and conditions

The conference organizers cannot accept any liability for personal injuries sustained or for loss or damage to property belonging to conference participants either during or as a result of the conference. Registration or accommodation fees do not include insurance.
By registering and paying your fees, you accept all of the above terms and conditions.
